Dog Strangled & Stolen Outside Store, Desperate Owner Offers ‘Huge Cash Reward’

Dogs are family, and even the thought of losing them terrifies us. Unfortunately, sometimes it takes just a second for the things to get the wrong the turn, such as with a Brooklyn woman named Bre Kelly whose 10-year-old Border Terrier mix named Theo got stolen while she was at the grocery store.

Realizing what happened to her loving dog, left Bre heartbroken. She feared for Theo’s safety because she had him for 10 years and his health condition was really poor as he suffered from gingivitis, pancreatitis, arthritis, and tumors.

The actual act of stealing Theo was caught on surveillance camera, and it showed a guy snatching the dog, while his friend kept a lookout.

Bre did all she could to have her dog back. She informed the authorities, placed ‘stolen/missing dog’ signs all over the place, and offered a huge cash reward. She even agreed not to press charges against the wrongdoers in case Theo was fine when brought back to her.

Update: Luckily, the public was later informed that Theo was found by a woman who returned it to Bre. NYPD, however, is still trying to track down the dognappers and are asking the wider public to provide them with any information that would help solve the case.

We are happy Bre and Theo were reunited. But in order to avoid the same thing from happening to your dog, make sure you keep a close eye on them at all times.
